Greetings! I’m beyond excited to introduce myself to you in my new capacity as vice chancellor for University Relations and Advancement at IU South Bend. To say this is my dream job would be an understatement. I’m a very proud IUB alum (B.S. ’94) and also a South Bend native. This new career for me perfectly blends my personal and professional passions. In fact, as I was submitting my resume for this position, it became obvious that the focus of all my personal philanthropy and volunteer work over the last 20 years or so have been entirely for IU. And that all started with becoming a life member of the IUAA and serving on the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association (including four years as president), the IUAA Executive Council, and most recently the South Bend Region board. In my role as vice chancellor I’ll oversee government, community and alumni relations, marketing and communications for the campus, and of course, all development efforts. It’s the honor of my life to have this responsibility and I look forward to working with you all to serve our alumni as effectively and passionately as possible. Hail to old IU!
With Hoosier Spirit and Titan Pride,
