Alumna spotlight - Angela Leed
Angela Leed, a Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate of IU South Bend, was a first-generation college student who had a passion for creativity and lifelong learning. She went on to turn her creative energy into a career as a professor of art, with the Graphic Design program at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.
Engaging with our community
The Center for Community Engagement connects faculty, staff and students to service opportunities in the community, and facilitates partnerships between the campus and community. If you are looking for an intern, volunteers, or a faculty/staff member with whom to work, you can contact Gail McGuire at gmcguire@iusb.edu or (574) 520-4572.
Self-care during the pandemic
Self-care has been a common topic in this last year. “Give yourself grace,” a common phrase. The stress of this past year’s challenges has shown up throughout our lives, at work, at home, and within our relationships. In response to what we as an alumni board are seeing and feeling ourselves, the IU South Bend Alumni Association board wanted to provide some self-care programming for alumni.
